Hi everyone! I said that would be new tutorials on VirtualBox but I mess with other things and I had a little left.
In the "project" in which I have been engaged has been in me a new website: DaveBV.es . So today I will tell you a little bit like I did (although he still has a lot of content to put).
The first has been to choose a server and grab a domain. The server is Apache on Linux, with php5 and mysql database. With this I have opted to use Drupal , a CMS (content management), and increasingly are taking greater prominence and I think that is a strong and effective manager.
This content management system, by itself, can serve for many things, insert articles, pages, stories and blog entries. But one of its virtues is the possibility of expansion modules, increasing many possible functions.
I leave a list of modules I've used so far ...
addition to the core modules, I added:
- Comment Subscribe , as its name suggests, in order to subscribe to the comments of the content. Contact
- Forms, you can create forms of contact with a representative of the type http://ejemplo.com/contact/Pepe url
- Fivestar to rate content.
- Google Analytics helps to insert the google analytics code to extract statistics of your website.
- Img package lets you insert images in a simple form posts and nodes. Mollom
- help us manage spam.
- Pathauto alias address created content type / category / music -> / node / 0
- Pingback
- Token
- Views , this module is a monster, we can select any content type for submission of the form we want. Gives us great versatility and power, but also is rather complicated to handle. Voting API
- necessary for Fivestar module.
