How Long Does A Rc Battery Go 400mah

Fix PC boot Vista with Ubuntu

Long story short, my last compu came with Windoze Vista from the factory. I had many problems, always falling, USB program I used for many years now not working, and so on. Although my machine was Ubuntu

I do too and it worked fine, decided to make a downgrade to Windoze Equispé.

Equispé and Ubuntu installed ... So far so good. While the driver installed in Equispé a TV tuner, I made a mistake which did away with the video drivers, network, sound, modem, video, etc. After multiple attempts to correct this blunder, I decided to reinstall Windoze again. Although only had to reinstall Windoze, I knew that doing so will overwrite the MBR and could no longer boot selection menu
Operating Systems (OS), but the machine would begin with Windoze directory still exists but Ubuntu perfect and intact in its own partition.
While Ubuntu, and generally many other distributions of GNU / Linux, is designed to coexist with other operating systems
, there are other less civilized as Windoze egocentrically were designed under the premise that one would never require other operating systems simultaneously.
know there are ways to fix the MBR, but never had. I researched online a bit first to understand some basic concepts, then proceeded to find a solution to my problem. In Ubuntu Forums found my solution accurately and easily. In my search I found other solutions too, but this was the easiest, short and practical (and that was the only one I understood). Equispé After reinstalling, my machine booted just for this, but Ubuntu continue intact. Then, I started my machine from a Live CD of Ubuntu (or more precisely, from a flash drive or USB key with Ubuntu already installed there.) Then I opened a console and execute the following commands: sudo grub This command is to start the application GRUB from a manager mode. If you use only the command '
grub' without the 'sudo
', surely the next line would give an error, because they had access to the unit that was created in memory by the Ubuntu Live, but would not access the hard disk. After running the command, we have entered the atmosphere of Grub and see the console prompt changed to '
grub> '. find / boot/grub/stage1

This command will return a location. This location is the one used in the following command. root (hd?,?)

This is important to replace the question marks with the numbers returned the command Find . setup (hd0)

With this command, reinstall Grub to the MBR of the disk.

quit
With this, we Grub environment and return to the conventional console. Now we can close the console. The following is to restart the computer, remove the flash drive
or Ubuntu Live CD and see that the start menu was restored and can be started with the OS of your choice. really do in such situations, it is important the community support for documentation generation. The strength of free software not so much the excellence of programs, but on the strength of the community which sustains. Reference
